Show Notes

How do we bring the principles of biomechanics and biomedical literacy to the modern police workforce?  That is a mouthful of big words, but it is the future.  Improving our knowledge and understanding of research in emerging digital health fields is the new frontier in human performance.  It fits with a theme for our show.  If it works for the world's highest performers in athletics and boardrooms, it will work in the squad room!

Tune in to this episode with Dr. Katherine Plewa as she breaks down this high-technology research to help us answer some fundamental questions.  Can we use digital sensors to help improve outcomes in officer safety and wellness?  Can they be used to improve fitness?  Health?  Stress Management?

The short answer is yes, absolutely!  The long answer, well, you will just have to listen to get a cursory introduction into this exciting field of research to learn a little about how it make be used moving forward.  With the best technology and a commitment to invest in our police technology and training, we can improve the policing profession.  Defunding is not the answer.
